Extra Curriculum Activities

Piano Lessons
These classes are held on Mondays from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. –
Students are scheduled for practical and theory, based on pick-up-time.
The cost per term is $340.00. Students are accepted from age six plus.
Lessons are conducted on the school premises with music instructor –
Ms. Rheta Burgess. Interested? Check with the office for registration
information.

Swimming
Swimming takes place on Wednesdays. Students are always accompanied by two class teachers of Briggs; as swimming takes place at ‘Flying Fish, Federation Park. Instructions are conducted by, Flying Fish Swim School. Students leave the premises at 11:15 am to return at 1:20 pm. Previously a daily rate was charged, however, due to a viable total of ten needed to accommodate the required number for each session. A decision has been reached to accept only termly payments to guarantee numbers per week. Fee per term is $450.00, inclusive of transport. Consent forms can be collected at the office for the new students.

Taekwondo
Held on Thursday evenings, from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.
Cost per term is $400.00. Official registration forms and further
information are available at the front office. Classes are held on
school premises with Ms. Cheryl-Ann Sankar as Instructor/Master.
Parents please be reminded of the fact … Ms. Sankar leaves right after
classes and therefore, supervision is limited. Forms are available at the
front office.

Dance Movement & Gymnastics
Dance classes are held on Fridays, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Classes are held on the premises and are conducted by Kacy Gray.
Class activities; Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop and basic gymnastic skills.
Forms are available at the office. Term fee $500.00. Pick up time
here is also important to observe.

Hockey
​
Hockey takes place on Fridays. The classes are under the
instructions of Stacey Siu Butt, at Chinese Association, St Anns.
Term fee is $300, however, transport fee of $12.00 is paid on the
same day of the practice. One teacher accompanies the team.
they depart at 12:15pm and return by 1:40pm. We are extending
an invitation to a wider group from JR4 and interested students of
JR3. Our JR5 students would not be participating until the SEA
examinations are over. General good behaviour is a main criteria
to be on the team, since the objective is to train for tournaments.
